Teach21 Reflections

Teach21 has been one of the most exciting and informative programs I have ever had the fortune participating in. It is though my view has gone from a small dusty window to one that is huge and able to open. I am totally amazed at what is available professionally and personally. As my comfort level increases what I do with my students increases. It will only get better from here!
Through Teach21 I have been able to provide my students with information and experiences that up until this point I was not able to share. For some, this has caused them to take off and pursue their own interest. I cannot wait to see where we go next year!
The impact of Teach21 on my students can best be measured by their enthusiasm. When the Smartboard is turned on their attention is immediately drawn to the board and they are ready to go. Using technology along with hands-on activities has made the lab so much more exciting and rewarding for my students. I have been able to inspire new scientists.
